Mariánské Lázně Spa was founded at the beginning of 19th century. Its high repute has been based on plenty of natural healing resources. In the broad surroundings there spring forth more than a hundred of springs, just in the town about forty. The all springs springing there forth are cold acidulous waters the temperature of which vary from 7°C to 10°C. The guests have been coming to the Mariánské Lázně Spa to learn and try traditional bathing treatment which is based on using of natural healing resources – mineral springs, peat, natural gas CO2 mineral baths, drinking cures and inhalations. In form of dry gas baths and subcutaneous injections there is healing gas of Maria (99,7 % of natural CO2) delivered. The peat has been used in form of peat wraps. The bathers are also wide spectrum of another healing procedures while using the most modern methods of medication at disposal.
