The local microclimate is very suitable for healing of upper and lower airways, blood circulation problems, nerve system and vegetative nerves. Even the healing short stays targetting on the enhancing of physicaland psychical condition have interesting contents. The spa is due to odd man Vincenz Priessnitz, the founder of hydrotherapeutic who in Gräfenberg in 1822 established the first hydrotherapeutic institute in the world.

Priessnitz Hydrotherapeutic Spa is situated in the pitoresque situation on the slopes of the Studniční Vrch about 2 km far away from the town of Jeseník, in an average level above the sea of 620 m, the northest extremity of Silesia and Moravia. Its area sensitively setted into the landscape creates a dominant of the wide surroundings.
